Itasca Bank & Trust Co. Appoints Angelo M. Marroquin, Vice President and Trust Officer
Angelo M. Marroquin, CTFA, JD, was recently appointed Vice President and Trust Officer at Itasca Bank & Trust Co. He previously managed Trust and Estate Administration at a large community bank with multiple offices in the Chicagoland Market. He has over 10 years of banking experience. Marroquin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Economics from Elmhurst College in Elmhurst, Illinois and a Juris Doctor from John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois.
“With banking and trust administration experience, all in the Chicago market, Angelo’s expertise as a fiduciary officer and attorney will be a strong asset for the Bank’s ability to meet the needs of our customers,” said James R. Mensching, President. “His experience and leadership abilities in the Estate Planning and Wealth Management areas are key to the growth of the Itasca Bank & Trust Co. Trust Department.”
Itasca Bank & Trust Co. is one of a small number of privately owned community banks with a full trust department. Marroquin joins the team of Trust Department Trust Officers which include the Chief Trust Officer, John Paul Sweeney, JD, CPA, MTax, along with Vice President and Trust Officer, Jerry Wiel, JD, and Vice President and Trust Officer, Sherrell Coutain. “While many community banks have exited the trust market, we are excited about Wealth Management opportunities. We think there is a great need for these services, and we intend to continue serving and expanding in these areas,” said Mensching. Marroquin is married with one child. He and his family reside in Bartlett, Illinois.
